There’s lots happening across the Explorers’ Edge region this weekend so make Father’s Day extra special by treating Dad to a getaway he’ll never forget.
Car Shows – Not One, But Two
The 21st Annual Gravenhurst Car Show rolls into Gull Lake Park on Saturday, June 14, 2014, and will showcase over 500 cars! The event includes live music and a party in honour of the 50th anniversary of the Mustang. The Bracebridge Father’s Day Car Show will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2014 downtown and will feature over 100 special interest vehicles, fabulous music, great dining, and a some shopping too in the shops in the “heart of Muskoka.”
Cruise the Lakes
Take Dad for a special Father’s Day Cruise on Lake Muskoka aboard the Wenonah II on
June 15, 2014 hosted by Muskoka Steamships out of the Gravenhurst Wharf. The event will include a beer tasting by Muskoka Brewery, live entertainment on deck, great prizes, and a 3-course prime rib dinner.
ATV Adventuring
Head to the impressive Park 2 Park Trail (230 kms of multi-use trail running between Algonquin Park in the east and Killbear Provincial Park in the west) to take part in or watch the 1st Annual Boiler Rally. Rest assured, mud’s going to fly!
