Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a genuine love for meal preparation. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards of excellence. This position requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$22.20 per hour
