As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in creating a positive experience for our guests from check-in to check-out. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with various guest needs while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
  • Answer phone calls promptly using professional phone etiquette to assist guests with inquiries and reservations.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures
  • Work efficiently with a team and contribute to creating a positive workspace.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating phone systems and managing multiple calls effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage front desk operations efficiently.
  • A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing outstanding guest services.
