Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and industrial cleaning, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a hotel or similar environment. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that room condition and cleanliness is of utmost importance and welcoming for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure rooms are assigned to housekeeping team.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel.
  • Maintain records related to housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and inventory management.
  • Oversee smaller departments such as breakfast and laundry.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the cleaning industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
