Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at Basilico. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Duties:

– Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
– Take food and beverage orders accurately
– Deliver orders to tables promptly and efficiently
– Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
– Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues
– Assist with setting up tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
– Handle cash transactions and process payments using the POS system
– Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
– Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens

Experience:

– Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences
– Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
– Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
– Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations

Skills:

– Food safety knowledge to ensure proper handling of food items
– Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
