Partner Spotlight – Parry Sound Chamber of Commerce – Visitor Survey

The Parry Sound Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Explorers’ Edge, launched a new incentivized visitor exit survey to better understand the experiences of visitors to the region. The initiative used rack cards and posters placed throughout the community, each featuring a QR code that linked directly to an online survey.

By scanning the QR code, visitors were able to quickly share feedback about their trip, including what they enjoyed, what could be improved, and how services and experiences met their expectations. The data collected provides valuable insights into visitor satisfaction and behavior, helping to guide future tourism planning and decision-making.

The survey results will support Chamber members and local operators by identifying opportunities to enhance visitor services and experiences. Insights gathered will also help inform marketing strategies, ensuring future promotional efforts align with what visitors value most. This collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment by the Parry Sound Chamber of Commerce and Explorers’ Edge to strengthen the local tourism economy through data-driven planning and continuous improvement.
