Campground Outside & Maintenance Team

Santa’s Whispering Pines Campground is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the 2025 season! We employ people that enjoy serving the public while helping them to create magical and memorable experiences with their family.

The Outside Team at Santa’s Whispering Pines provide crucial services to the campground and guests, ensuring the grounds are maintained, and buildings and sites are cleaned.

The Campground Outside Team contributes significantly to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for campers, fostering a sense of community within the campground, and ensuring the overall success of the facility. These positions require afternoon, evening and weekend shifts. Both full time and part time positions are available.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Interchangeable positions of Grounds keeping of the property and general maintenance of the Cabins, Yurts, Cottages, Tent, and RV Sites offered to guests
• Primary Grounds keeping roles include; Facility maintenance and repairs (training provided), grass cutting, bush clearing, pool maintenance, deliveries of firewood and other amenities to guest sites, general customer service and professional representation of Santa’s Village
• Light construction duties: Assisting with minor repairs, maintenance projects, and general upkeep of all accommodation types
• Cottage support: helping with pump-out process of cottages as needed.
• Light lifting: Moving supplies, equipment, and materials to support day -to-day operations
• Follow instructions and seek clarification, as required.
• Cleaning and organization of working environment is a shared responsibility of all Santa’s Whispering Pine team members

Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills
• 2 + years experience in general maintenance or construction role.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Willing and able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to be outdoors and moving for up to 8 hours a day
• Attention to detail oriented and can record information accurately
• Ability to work in a team dynamic environment
• Ability to work in hot/cold/wet weather conditions and maintain physically demanding positions which require walking, standing, lifting, bending for lengthy periods of time
• Knowledge and experience of camping and outdoor recreational activities considered an asset
