Campground Overnight Security

Santa’s Whispering Pines Campground is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the 2025 season! We offer flexible shifts, paid training and opportunities for continuous development. The Campground Overnight Security Position at Santa’s Whispering Pines provides crucial services to the campground and guests, ensuring the grounds are safe & maintained.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•  Provide exceptional service by addressing guest concerns, resolving complaints, and offering assistance in a professional and courteous manner.
• De-escalate conflicts and handle challenging situations, including managing intoxicated guests and other disturbances. Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
• Conduct regular and thorough security checks throughout the campground to ensure the safety of all guests and property.
• Deliver firewood to guest cottages and cabins as required.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to emergencies, document incidents, and report them to management as required.

Qualifications: 

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Willing and able to work a variety of shifts including Late nights, weekends and holidays when required
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
• Ability to work in a team dynamic environment
• Ability to work in hot/cold/wet weather conditions and maintain physically demanding positions which require walking, standing, lifting, bending for lengthy periods of time
• Knowledge and experience of camping and outdoor recreational activities and Previous experience in security or customer service is a plus, considered an asset.
