Dishwasher

We are currently hiring a Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, store front and dining areas to support smooth daily operations.

Job Type: Part-time – 15-25 hours per week.

Compensation:

• Starting from $16.55 per hour
• Shifts typically 2-4 hours each, 4-5 days per week
• Daytime, evening, and weekend shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate sanitation methods
• Clean and sanitize dining areas and kitchen surfaces
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining area floors
• Manage garbage and recycling tasks, including emptying indoor and seasonal outdoor bins
• Take garbage and recycling bins to the curb weekly (Wednesday)
• Assist with store duties, bakery cleaning, and light maintenance
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as necessary
• Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and meets health and safety standards
• Organize and restock kitchen supplies
• Work effectively with the team during busy periods

Qualifications:

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, not required
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Flexibility for varied shifts including evenings and weekends
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of independent work
• Physical capability to lift garbage bags and stand for extended periods
