Job Summary
We are seeking a Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and gift shop to ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality, possess excellent customer service skills, and be proficient in managing front office tasks efficiently.

This is a permanent, year-round position.

Staff Housing during the summer months may be available at a minimum cost including all meals.

Duties:
– Manage all front desk activities, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
– Train, supervise, and support front desk staff to deliver outstanding service
– Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
– Handle guest complaints and ensure prompt resolution
– Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are clean and well-maintained
– Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
– Monitor and manage reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue
– Oversee billing processes and ensure accuracy in financial transactions

Requirements:
– Proven experience in a front office or hotel management role
– Strong communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette
– Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction
– Knowledge of hotel booking systems and phone systems
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
– Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
