- Primary Duties & Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to)
1. General Grounds Maintenance
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
- Remove weeds, dead plants, and debris from landscaped areas.
- Sweep, rake, and clean sidewalks, pathways, and common outdoor areas.
- Remove litter, trash, and fallen leaves to keep the resort grounds tidy.
- Maintain outdoor furniture, signage, and decorative elements.
- Help with emergency storm preparations and post-storm cleanup.
2. Hardscape & Facilities Upkeep
- Inspect and maintain walking paths, patios, and outdoor recreational areas.
- Perform minor repairs on fences, gates, and outdoor structures.
- Ensure resort pool is clean and operational.
3. Equipment & Supply Management
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
- Follow safety procedures when handling equipment, chemicals, and tools.
4. Guest Interaction & Customer Service
- Greet guests in a friendly manner and provide assistance if needed.
- Respond to guest concerns or maintenance requests related to outdoor areas.
- Work with resort management to ensure guest satisfaction with outdoor amenities.
Qualifications & Skills: (Experience or Willingness to Learn)
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Students welcome (room and board available).
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Hardworking, reliable & on time.
- Able to take direction, follow company rules and policy.
- Must be physically fit; able to walk, bend and lift for extended periods.
- Can lift heavy objects.
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a similar role.
- Ability to operate power tools and groundskeeping equipment.
- Basic repair and maintenance skills for outdoor facilities.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Start and end dates flexible. We are looking for staff available for all or part of May to the end of October.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
