Seasonal Sales Associate

Swift Canoe & Kayak is gearing up for a Big Summer in 2025 and we’re looking for some great people who want to join our team. We are seeking for 2 outdoor loving Sales Associate for this coming season to join our Gravenhurst Sale Centre. If you are a people person who is keen to share your love of the outdoors and your passion for paddling with others, we’d love to hear from you!

Our team who works a Swift are very passionate about the outdoors, and that is translated to how we serve our customers. As an employee you will be trained on a multitude of products, from canoes & kayaks to PFDs and paddles.

In the Seasonal Position, you would be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while representing a trusted and much-loved Canadian brand.

Responsibilities:

-Customer service and sales of Canoe, Kayaks and SUP’s

-Assisting customers in selection of the craft that best suits their needs and paddling style/abilities

-Managing incoming stock and customer boat arrivals

-Assist front of store, answering phones, welcoming customers and daily cash

-General maintenance of our store, and outdoor sales yard

Requirements:

-Outgoing personality and great communication skills

-Basic computer skills

-Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus

-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

-Must be able to work weekends and holidays

-Experience in a retail or sales environment is an asset although not a requirement

**Willingness to work outdoors rain or shine
