Job Title: Turf Maintenance

Start Date: April 2025

Location: McKellar, ON

Compensation: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Job Description:

Manitou Ridge Golf Club is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Turf Maintenance team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course and surrounding areas, ensuring a top-tier experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

? Operate light utility vehicles and hand power equipment, including:

? Line trimmers

? Brush cutters

? Rotary mowers

? Riding mowers

? Utilize hand tools such as shovels, bunker rakes, landscape rakes.

? Perform an assortment of tasks related to turf maintenance, including:

? Maintaining greens, tees, fairways, as well as natural areas, bunkers, walkways, and greenspaces.

? Course setup.

? Landscaping around the clubhouse.

? Work independently with minimal supervision.

? Commit to early morning starts, including weekend mornings.

Qualifications:

? Valid G driver’s license.

? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

? Capacity for physical labor in various outdoor conditions.

? Previous turf maintenance experience (preferred but not required).

? A good understanding of golf and course maintenance (an asset).
