Partner Spotlight – Loring Restoule Business Association – Wayfinding Signage
With support from the Explorers’ Edge Partnership Fund, the Loring Restoule Business Association (LRBA) has enhanced tourism promotion and the visitor experience in the Loring-Restoule region through the repair and upgrade of three key Community Boards in Port Loring, Commanda, and Restoule. These refreshed boards provide clear, accessible, and visually appealing wayfinding and tourism information for both residents and visitors, directly supporting Explorers’ Edge’s strategy to increase regional tourism visibility, support local businesses, and improve visitor engagement.
The upgraded boards, built with durable materials, plexiglass doors, literature holders, and cemented bases—with one board relocated for better accessibility—serve as strategic touchpoints to highlight LRBA member businesses, promote local attractions, and share itineraries and seasonal experiences.
This project aims to improve the visitor experience by providing clear, attractive, and consistent signage, while promoting local businesses and seasonal offerings. It strengthens the region’s tourism identity, fosters community pride, and encourages exploration and economic growth. By ensuring all boards are durable, accessible, and visually engaging, the LRBA has created a cohesive and welcoming framework that showcases community attractions and supports year-round tourism in the Loring-Restoule region.
