Partner Spotlight – Ontario 55+ Winter Games -Huntsville

The Explorers’ Edge Partnership Fund is supporting the Ontario Senior 55+ Winter Games, taking place in Huntsville from February 3–5, 2026. This multi-venue event will bring over 1,000 athletes to Huntsville, Burk’s Falls, Baysville, and surrounding communities, generating an estimated $1.5 million in regional economic impact through accommodations, food services, and venue rentals.

The partnership focuses on two key areas to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for participants and visitors: a reservation platform and temporary wayfinding and directional signage across the 11 sporting venues. These initiatives enhance accessibility, safety, and visitor experience while strengthening tourism infrastructure and regional capacity for hosting large-scale events.
