Let’s Talk Tourism, Port Loring!
More Visitors. More Bookings. Stronger Local Partnerships.
Explorers’ Edge is Coming to Port Loring!
Thursday, November 12, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Jake’s Place Restaurant | Port Loring, Ontario
Tourism is an important part of the local economy, and we believe the best opportunities begin with conversations and partnerships right in our communities.
Join James Murphy and Jennifer Montpetit from Explorers’ Edge (RTO12), the organization behind The Great Canadian Wilderness, for an informal discussion about the projects, programs, and partnerships that can help strengthen tourism in Port Loring and the surrounding region.
Whether you operate an accommodation business, restaurant, attraction, outdoor adventure experience, retail business, or other tourism-related enterprise, we want to hear from you.
What’s on the Table?
Opportunities for Your Business
Learn about current Explorers’ Edge initiatives, available funding and partnership opportunities, and ways your business can participate in regional tourism development.
Attracting Visitors and Increasing Bookings
Explore how regional marketing, visitor research, transportation connections, and collaborative tourism experiences can help bring more visitors into our communities and convert interest into bookings.
Building Stronger Partnerships
Discover opportunities to work with other local businesses, develop visitor experiences, and connect with regional initiatives under The Great Canadian Wilderness.
We Want to Hear From You
What are the opportunities and challenges facing tourism businesses in Port Loring? What would help you grow? Where could collaboration make a real difference?
Your ideas and perspectives will help shape how we work together moving forward.
Let’s Build What’s Next, Together
This is an open, informal conversation—not a formal presentation or sales pitch. We want to share what we’re working on, listen to local operators, identify opportunities, and explore practical next steps.
All tourism operators and tourism-related businesses in Port Loring and the surrounding communities are welcome.
