More Than a Ride: FlixBus Q&A
Exploring what year-round transportation can mean for visitors, workers, students and communities.
Following a successful seasonal pilot, Explorers’ Edge and FlixBus are expanding their relationship with year-round service connecting Toronto, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville, South River and North Bay.
It is an affordable, car-free way to move along the corridor, but we believe the opportunity goes well beyond tourism.
Reliable transportation can help connect people to jobs, education, communities, visitor experiences and new opportunities. That is why Explorers’ Edge is bringing together organizations from tourism, economic development, education, employment services, newcomer services and other sectors to explore what this service could mean for the people they serve. The outreach initiative was designed specifically to broaden the conversation beyond traditional tourism partners.
